'Dance Moms' season 7 premiere date, cast: rumors around fan favorites returning refuse to die

Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler from "Dance Moms" Lifetime

Although Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak already left "Dance Moms," rumors continue to reel them back in. As per the latest reports, the young dancers are returning for "Dance Moms" season 7.

Both teens, who were part of the original cast of the Lifetime series, have undoubtedly become bigger after leaving "Dance Moms" with new projects here and there.

Outside of "Dance Moms," Ziegler became more popular when she starred in music videos of singer Sia, who quickly became her collaborator and friend.

Ziegler is also a member of the judging panel of "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation" and is working on four books, one of which is a memoir chronicling her rise to stardom. The star is also booked for a film written and directed by Sia. The movie is titled "Sia" and Ziegler herself will be the main star.

Ziegler and her little sister Mackenzie left the series after the previous season. The 13-year-old has opened up about being free from pressure following the big move, so a return for "Dance Moms" season 7 may be unlikely.

As for Lukasiak, who parted ways with "Dance Moms" after the fourth season, she is being rumored to return primarily because of an Instagram post about her last day in Studio 19 in Cranberry Township.

Some believe that she is leaving the studio to officially reunite with the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) for "Dance Moms" season 7 in Pittsburgh, where the primary studio for the show is located.

There's no confirmation about this yet, but just like Ziegler, Lukasiak has been a busy bee ever since she left the show. She has been out of the series for a couple of years now.

But, if the rumors are to be believed, Lukasiak will find her way into "Dance Moms" season 7, which will premiere next year on Lifetime.
