Players have not heard anything from CD Projekt from a very long time regarding the development of "Cyberpunk 2077." Only a few teasers have only been released by the studio in the past, but they are enough to capture the interest of the gaming community. While details remain scarce at this point, there are rumors that the game will be present at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year, not just for a brief presentation, but also to allow selected participants to experience "Cyberpunk 2077" firsthand.

The scoop regarding the possible game demo at E3 2018 for "Cyberpunk 2077" came from the Polish website GRYOnline. The translated version of the site reveals that "Cyberpunk 2077" will likely show a new trailer during the event, which could finally tell more about the game's mechanics and background story. While the studio is expected to bring its tech experts and tools to E3 for the demo, not all participants will be able to play the game as the demo is rumored to happen "behind closed doors," according to PCGamer.

Furthermore, the Polish site is pretty confident about the E3 2018 appearance of "Cyberpunk 2077," given that the information came from two different sources. Another report that supports this claim is the latest update from YouTuber LegacyKillaHD , stating that Sony has already received the tech demo build of the game. The rumored demo build submitted last December may have no connection to E3 happening on June 12 to 14, although this establishes the idea that "Cyberpunk 2077" is now ready to be tested by players.

Meanwhile, CinemaBlend cited the recent activity of the official "Cyberpunk 2077" Twitter account, which could be an indication that the public will hear some fresh updates soon. The latest Twitter post of the account in 5 years is only a strange "Beep" message, but this seemingly irrelevant and short tweet could mean that CD Projekt is breathing new life to the game once again. It is worth noting that the studio has encountered a series of issues during the early stages of creating "Cyberpunk 2077," prompting rumors that the game will be launched at a later date.

Nevertheless, there are positive signs that "Cyberpunk 2077" will still proceed as planned. For one, CD Projekt announced last year that the game will use the upgraded version of the engine used for "The Witcher" series, thus giving it more potential to become a big hit.
