Cristiano Ronaldo announced the birth of his fourth child last Sunday, Nov. 12. The newborn is his first baby with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.

The 32-year-old professional footballer shared an Instagram snap of their family along with his eldest son, Cristiano Jr. Ronaldo's girlfriend is seen holding their baby while they are all smiles with the arrival of their new blessing. The picture was taken at the Hospital Quiron Universal in Madrid, near Ronaldo's home at the gated VIP estate La Finca.

"Alana Martina is just born! Both Geo and Alana are doing great! We are all very happy!" the translated caption of his photo reads.

Even before Rodriguez gave birth, the couple already decided to publicly reveal the baby's name. "I chose the first name and Geo the second," he said via Mirror Online. The forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Portugal national team explained that he just wanted to tell everyone his new kid's name, and for him, it is a beautiful moniker.

Originally, Rodriguez was set to give birth on Nov. 21. However, she was admitted early on Sunday. There were speculations that she was intentionally admitted to the hospital to give birth earlier than expected.

This was because her boyfriend was on time off due to Portugal's international break fixtures. Also, he has no club matches until the next weekend. In preparation for giving birth, Rodriguez revealed that she had a strict Mediterranean diet. Fortunately, all went well.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, earlier said that being a father was an "amazing experience." In fact, Alana just joined her father's growing family. The famous sports icon recently welcomed twins named Eva Maria and Mateo from a surrogate mother from the United States.

The twins were born in a U.S. hospital and were brought to Madrid to be with their father. It was also believed that his eldest son, Cristiano Jr., was born to another surrogate mother from the United States as well.
