After months of speculations about the cancellation of "Counting On," a recent news seems to confirm that the show will be back soon. But what does the Duggars say about the return of the "19 Kids and Counting" spin-off?

InTouchWeekly reports that the show's return date is already revealed by the Original Duggar Family Fan Blog. The said blog is run by Lily and Ellie who are personal friends of the family. The blog says: "This just in... Following the exciting announcement of Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo's pregnancy, the Duggar family has another tidbit of news to reveal. New episodes of Counting On return to TLC Monday, Feb. 26!"

However, the information merely comes from a fan blog, which could not be the most reliable source. The show's return will only be confirmed once the announcement comes from the TLC Network. As of this writing, there is no new update on the show's official Facebook page about its new season .

Since Feb. 26 is just a few weeks away, TLC should already be announcing and advertising the seventh season of the docu series. If this air date is indeed true, then fans will no doubt see an announcement from the network soon.

"Counting On" season 6 ended on Oct. 23 with Joseph Duggar's wedding. Months after that, TLC has not mentioned anything about season 7. This sparked rumors that the show will be canceled. But fans still believe that it will be back since the show's official Facebook page calls the ending as a season finale, not a series finale.

After the show ended, Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard were involved in a controversy. Derick was officially fired from the show in November after he shared a series of hate tweets directed to TLC star Jazz Jennings. This means that if the show will indeed return in February, fans will not be seeing Derick anymore.
