First-person shooter video game "Call of Duty: WWII" will be featuring some changes, according to developer Sledgehammer Games. Aside from that, the game is recognized as the top-selling title of 2017.

The game's developer recently revealed on Reddit that it will feature in-game update that is similar to the one it did on Dec. 7, 2017. There will be new game modes and potential weapon changes. The post says that the update will include many changes that are requested by gamers in social channels and in the subreddit. It will be out in the next couple weeks.

In another subreddit post, chief operating and development officer of Sledgehammer Games, Michael Condrey, discussed the changes that they have planned for the weapons. Although not all gamers will be happy with the changes, Condrey said that he is hoping that everyone will approach it with a positive intent.

The Kar98K, which is currently the second most damaging sniper and the quickest scoping time weapon, will have an ADS on time nerf. Players find the M1Garand as an OP because of its potential to kill at closer ranges. Condrey said that they will adjust its fire rate, pull up time and/or reload time. For the STG44, which is a versatile and an iconic WII assault rifle, it will be more competitive with the BAR, Garand, and FG42.

"FG42. Did we go too far with the last fire rate nerf? Maybe. It's a great weapon that we want to have as a viable option with other ARs and SMGs. Might need to find a median between where it was, and where it is now," Condrey said about one of the game's weapons. He ended the post by saying that the list is not comprehensive and he cannot confirm that all of these changes will be applied.

In another news, "Call of Duty: WWII" is the top-selling title for PlayStation 4 this 2017. It bested other games like "Destiny 2" and "Friday the 13th: The Game." For PS4 add-ons, its "Season Pass" ranked third, while "Call of Duty Black Ops III: Zombies Chronicles" has the most number of downloads.
