Two weeks ahead of this year's much-anticipated Black Friday Sale event, more and more retailers are joining the bandwagon for early announcements of their deals and promotions. More recently, two gaming retail giants – Toys 'R' Us and GameStop – broadcasted their own lists of upcoming discounts.
The Black Friday website uploaded the gaming deals offered by toys giant Toys 'R' Us. Tagged as "Thursday Door Busters," the deals and promo event for the retailer chain will start on Thanksgiving Thursday at 5 p.m.. For gamers, the most noted deal from the retailer is a 2-for-$25 deal for gaming titles. Interested buyers must look for games with the "R Super Buy" stickers on them, which are the ones included in the promo.
Although purchasers need to check which titles will come with the deal, there are over 200 titles to choose from, and included on the list are some fan favorites such as "Call of Duty: Black Ops," "Lego Movie: The Game," "Titanfall," and "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare." The flyer for the promo deal can be found online.
There will also be discounted prices for console-specific deals. According to the flyer, gamers can purchase a three-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold for just $15. In addition, there is also a Wii U "Super Smash Bros. & Splatoon" Deluxe Set for $280.
Another giant retailer, GameStop, will also hold a Black Friday Sale event for this year. According to GameSpot, gamers who'd like to check out deals for more recent releases will find at least $50 off on all Xbox One bundles. In addition, the recent "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" RPG title can be had for only $30, and there will also be a buy-two-get-one deal on titles that will last all over Thanksgiving weekend. However, GameStop will only start its Black Friday promotion on the day itself, opening in the early hours. The retail giant will be closed on Thanksgiving.
