In the next episode of "Beyond," Holden Matthews (Burkely Duffield) meets his estranged lover Charlie (Eden Brolin) unexpectedly.

The trailer for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Knock, Knock," was just released recently, and it shows Matthews and his girlfriend Willa (Dilan Gwyn) sharing an intimate moment together in her house. She has always been by his side and took care of him in the outer realm, when he was in a coma. However, now it seems like their relationship may be threatened by the appearance of Charlie. The mysterious girl showed up at the start of the season and apparently is conspiring with the Man in the Yellow Jacket (Peter Kelamis). They are trying to get more information about Matthews and his strange powers. Fans still do not know if she has good or bad intentions.

It was revealed earlier that Charlie was pregnant with Matthews' baby but it turned out that she was just wearing a a baby bump. She went to the maternity class and showed up pregnant just to get close with Matthews' family friend Tess Shoemacher (Erika Alexander). Fans breathed a sigh of relief since a baby could potentially hurt Matthews and Willa's relationship. However, it seems that the powered being may finally be meeting Charlie when he shows up at her door. It remains to be seen what the outcome of that meeting will be.

In a recent interview with TVLine, Duffield shared, "Holden has this amazing past with Willa, and he knows she's special to him, but then this girl Charlie seemingly popped out of nowhere. They're similar in so many ways, and he still doesn't quite understand their connection. They had this one weekend together with absolutely no closure, so it's definitely something he's thinking about."

"Beyond" season 2 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
