"Avengers 3: Infinity Wars" was first confirmed on October 28, 2014. Four and a half months later, Marvel Studios officially announced that the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe, would be directing and call the shots for the two-part movie. A little less than three months after the announcement, the brothers have called in actors and began casting for the highly-anticipated movie.

Auditions for both major and supporting roles for the "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars Part 1" is reportedly being held in Los Angeles, California. The star-studded movie is rumored to include singer and songwriter Beyonce Knowles. Daily Star reported that the producers wanted the singer/actress to join in hopes of gaining a larger fan-base for the Marvel movie.

Daily Star  also reported that Knowles, 33, was in talks with Marvel and Disney for a role she would be playing. "We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel's existing catalogue of comic book characters," a Disney senior executive told Daily Star.

Boom-Boom, Tabitha Smith's alter-ego, Blink, a teleporter, and Tigra, a feline-like human with super strength and agility, are some of the characters that are getting considered for the former Destiny's Child member. Producers believe the addition of Beyonce to the cast will help draw in an even larger fan-base.

Another character was also confirmed to be part of the upcoming movie but this time around, it's a villain. The Magus, Adam Warlock's bad side, was confirmed to be joining Infinity Wars Part 1. The Magus is known to separate from Warlock's body and assemble the Infinity Gauntlet.

"The film is the first in a two-part sequel in which Thanos plays a major role, along with the Magus," Spoiler TV reports.

Note that the Magus was originally meant to be a superhuman champion of life that can provide opposition for the death's champion, Thanos. However, the Magus became insane because of all the philosophies and dark arts that Master Order and Lord Chaos were teaching him.

Tom Hiddleston, the actor who played Loki, will also make a reappearance in the coming Avengers franchise installment. "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars" will be the end of Phase 3 of the Marvel Universe.

"Avengers 3: Infinity Wars Part 1" is set to hit the theaters on May 4, 2018 while "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars Part 2" will come almost a full year after, on May 3, 2019.
