While the second season of the anime version of the highly popular franchise "Attack On Titan" is still pretty much far off from being released, some shocking new revelations are apparently now being featured in the latest chapters of the franchise's manga series.

The previous chapter, chapter 85 titled "Basement," featured a surprising new discovery by Eren and his team, but new reports are suggesting that even more surprises are in store in the upcoming new chapter.

Eren — along with his closest allies in the Survey Corps — has decided to pay a visit to Eren and Mikasa's old house to discover the truth about the Titans and his father, Dr. Yeager. The previous chapter showcased how Eren and the team found several journals hidden under the basement of his house.

Surprisingly, the key that Eren's father had given him was apparently not for the basement itself, which still leaves the question of its true purpose.

The team soon discovers that there is apparently a settlement of humans outside the wall that is free from Titans. This, of course, shocked the team who had never imagined that such a thing was even possible.

During their search, the team also uncovers several of Dr. Yeager's journals, with one containing a picture of him with another family. The photo showed Zeke as a child. Some fans were then quick to speculate that Eren and the Beast Titan might actually be related and that they were both the victims of their father's experiments.

Reports have also cited Eren and Zeke's uncanny resemblance to each other as further proof of the theory, but even that may be inconclusive for now. The upcoming chapter, chapter 86, is reportedly going to delve deeper into the revelations and possibly even reveal the truth about the Titans themselves.

"Attack on Titan" chapter 86 is scheduled to be published in Shueisha's Shonen Jump in Japan on Oct. 8.
