Apple has yet to make any official announcements regarding the release of this year's brand new MacBook Pro laptop, but reports have revealed that its release could very well be just around the corner. Fans are, of course, waiting with bated breath for the new laptop's release as it will reportedly be coming with some very high-tech hardware and features.
A new report has revealed that the company's very own Tim Cook had actually responded to a fan's inquiry about the new MacBook laptop and the entire Mac PC lineup. Cook mentioned that they actually have a lot of love for the Mac line and that they are still pretty much "committed to it" and that fans should just "stay tuned."
Another indication of the 2016 MacBook Pro's impending release is the current developments in the company's new operating system, macOS Sierra. Reports have revealed that the latest version of the operating system — macOS Sierra 10.12.1 — is currently going through several beta tests and that it is still on track for a release date that will likely be within the year.
The new operating system version has reportedly been designed to work with the hardware and features of the 2016 MacBook Pro, which means that Apple will allegedly be launching the new laptop along with the latest operating system at the same time in a launch event next month.
As for the 2016 MacBook Pro's rumored specs and features, the laptop is reportedly going to be coming with a new OLED touch bar above the keyboard. It will also likely be sporting the company's own Touch ID system which will be adding a new dimension of security. There are also reports that claim that the new laptop will likely have an AMD-built GPU installed out of the box. The addition of the new Polaris-based GPU, along with the upgraded internals, will mean that the laptop will certainly be a performer that would be worth the wait.
The 2016 MacBook Pro is rumored to be launched next month, more specifically during the second half of October.
