Celebrity couple Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias apparently spent a fortune on their Miami home in preparation for their kids.

TMZ reports that Kournikova and Iglesias spent a whopping $600,000 to child-proof their beautiful home. During Kournikova's pregnancy, the couple started building a 16-foot wall around their house in Miami. The celebrity news outlet also found out that Kournikova and Iglesias will be adding a 2-story single family residence with child-proof security measures, including a child barrier around their pool.

Kournikova gave birth to twins on Saturday, Dec. 16 and named them Nicholas and Lucy. Kournikova's pregnancy was actually a surprise to the public, as the couple has managed to keep it a secret for nine months. Kournikova and Iglesias were last seen in public November 2016 in their boat.

Kournikova is a former professional tennis player from Russia. According to sources, she was named the number one doubles player by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). In singles, Kournikova was ranked number eight by the WTA. Kournikova officially retired in 2007 after numerous injuries in her body, especially on her back.

Kournikova was allegedly previously married to National Hockey League (NHL) player Sergei Fedorov. While Kournikova's representatives denied any marriage to the NHL player, Fedorov's representatives claim that Federov was married.

Kournikova started dating Iglesias in late 2001 after the tennis player appeared in Iglesias' music video. The couple stopped dating in October of 2013 after Kournikova called it quits following Iglesias' purchase of a $26 million mansion on a private island for themselves.

Kournikova allegedly grew tired of waiting for Iglesias to marry her. "They've been together for so long, she feels like it's never going to happen. She is ready to move on," said a source close to Kournikova in 2013. However, the couple got back together the same year.

With Nicholas and Lucy in their lives now, the world may hear of Kournikova and Iglesias' marriage sometime soon.
