As more and more teasers for "American Horror Story" season 6 come in (there are already 14 released at the time of writing), the vaguer the new season seems to become.

FX has yet to announce the theme for the upcoming season of the hit horror anthology and the network appears to have left it to the imagination of fans.

The latest tease for "American Horror Story" season 6 sees a mummy. This is not your typical cloth-covered corpse. This one strikes an alluring pose, with the caption that reads "Wrap yourself tonight."

A short clip was also released. It showed a spider crawl out of a woman's mouth. Another is a poster featuring a horned demonic creature. It also appears to be a faun, a half-human half-goat creature.

No details came with the poster so there's no information as to how this monster will be involved. However, it is looking like it is just part of the array of creatures appearing in "American Horror Story" season 6.

Fans will remember that early this year, it was teased that "American Horror Story" will be set in two timelines – the present and the past.

A mummy and a horned demon appears to be somewhat representations of mythology from the olden times, with the latter even considered as a legendary creature.

However, taking into account the other "American Horror Story" season 6 teasers, it is tough to pinpoint a similarity. However, if the words of FX CEO John Landgraf are to be believed, it is meant to be that way after all.

"We just thought it would be really fun to keep it a mystery this year. And we are," Landgraf said at the Television Critics Association press tour via Variety.

He revealed that only one teaser is an accurate depiction of "American Horror Story" season 6 and that the rest were only meant to misdirect fans.

"They went out and made many more trailers than you've actually seen for hypothetical seasons of 'American Horror Story.' One of them is accurate," he teased.

"American Horror Story" season 6 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
