'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 5: Meet the new characters joining Agent Coulson and the gang

In the return of the favorite ABC series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5, fans are about to see new faces that will be introduced in the new world Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the group are into.

To recall, Agent Coulson and his team have successfully saved the world with Ghost Rider's (Gabriel Luna) help. However, as they were celebrating their victory, they were interrupted by an unknown man along with his team. They were kidnapped by these people and the next thing they knew, they were in the space.

As the favorite agents are going to be in a new world, here are the new characters that will be coming in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 as detailed by Entertainment Weekly. First up is Deke (Jeff Ward). He is an ultimate survivor and at the same time, a naughty scavenger. He can give people what they want, but if the price is right. With his wit and intelligence, he can be a great asset but also a big enemy.

Next is Tess (Eve Harlow), the resourceful woman who is trying her best to be self-sufficient. She, too, is hoping to have a better future for herself and people close to her. She is also clinging that good people will always get each other's back.

The third one joining "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 is Flint (Coy Stewart). Although he has been forced to grow up immediately because of the environment he is into, this young man does not forget to do something for himself. So, when he meets Agent Coulson and the company, he will definitely prove that he can do more than they could think of.

Lastly, fans are about to meet Grill (Pruitt Taylor Vince), the grumpy leader who loves to dominate the people under him. He has a very bad temper and the ones under his command are often his victim. As he is fully aware of the world he is into, this man is definitely hard to deceive.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5's premiere episode will be a two-hour special that will air on Friday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. It will be back on its regular programming on Friday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. EST.
