Fans are in for a treat as they will see the return of Nick Blood in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 episode 5, titled Rewind." The 35-year-old star will be reprising his role as Lance Hunter after being away in the third season.

As Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of his team are now in the outer space in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5, Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) is believed to be left alone on Earth. He could be wondering where the agents are.

It has been teased before that Fitz's friend will be returning. In "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 episode 5's synopsis, it is revealed that Hunter will be helping Fitz to find Coulson and his group. It is also said that his "incredible journey" is about to start.

Fans last saw Hunter with Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki), also known as Mockingbird, in the ABC series' third season episode 13, titled "Parting Shot." The two were caught infiltrating the Russian government. However, S.H.I.E.L.D. cannot easily reveal that they had sent these agents without causing a major complication.

Hence, the intelligence agency was left with no choice at the time but to disown them. Since then, Morse and Hunter have not been seen.

Aside from Hunter, Polly Hinton (Lola Glaudini) and Robin (Lexy Kolker) will also return in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 episode 5. They are the wife and daughter of an Inhuman man from the third season.

To recall, Daisy "Skye" Johnson (Chloe Bennet) was not able to save the man who can foresee the future and would give death premonitions that were about to happen whenever he touched people. When he died, Skye gave his wife and daughter some money so they could start their lives anew in a different place.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 episode 5, titled "Rewind," will air on Friday, Dec. 22, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
