Nissan has announced pricing for the 2018 Titan and Titan XD lineup. For the new model year, the Japanese automaker also announced that the full-size pickup trucks will be available with the Midnight Edition Package.
The 2018 Nissan Titan S Single Cab 4x2 has a starting price of $29,780 while the 2018 Titan XD S Single Cab 4x2 Gas and 2018 Titan S S Single Cab 4x2 Diesel have a base price of $31,790 and $37,340, respectively.
There will also be an additional $1,295 charge for destination and handling.
The 2018 Titan is powered by a 390-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance V8 gasoline engine. The pickup truck has a maximum towing capacity of 9,740 pounds and maximum payload capacity of 1,950 pounds.
Aside from the base model, it is available in four other configurations: SV King Cab 4x4, PRO-4X Crew Cab 4x4, SL Crew Cab 4x2 and Platinum Crew Cab 4x4.
The 2018 Titan XD, on the other hand, is available with either the 390-horsepower V8 engine or a 310-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 Turbo Diesel engine. The heavy-duty truck has a maximum towing capacity of 12,310 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 2,080 pounds.
The Titan XD lineup includes four other configurations: S King Cab 4x4, PRO-4x King Cab 4x4, SL Crew Cab 4x2 and Platinum Crew Cab 4x2.
Meanwhile, those who want their pickup trucks to have a more customized look can opt for the new Midnight Edition Package.
With this package, the 2018 Titan and Titan XD models take on a blacked-out appearance. Outside, there will be a body-color grille and body-color front and rear bumpers alongside dark headlamps and dark insert. The fog lamp finisher, mirrors, door handles, step rails, exterior badging and 20-inch wheels will all be black. There will also be "Midnight Edition" badging.
As for the cabin, the Midnight Edition Package will add a dark charcoal color scheme.
The custom package is priced at $1,250, providing up to $1,360 worth of discount compared to if all these additional features were ordered separately.
The 2018 Nissan Titan and Titan XD are now available to purchase at dealers nationwide.
