Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is bringing the 2018 Jeep Wrangler to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week. The automaker will be showcasing the advanced technologies that are featured in the all-new off-road SUV.

One of the highlights of the upcoming exhibit is the fourth-generation Uconnect infotainment system which is available with an 8.4-inch display, enhanced processing power, multi-touch gestures and improved graphics. It also offers 4G LTE services so that passengers remain connected while on the road as well as smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

"Our award-winning Uconnect systems are design to provide consumers with a variety of conveniently connected services and features that deliver the ultimate driving experience, and that evolves both on- and off-road with Jeep Wrangler," said Mike Manley, head of Jeep Brand — FCA Global.

To demonstrate the advanced technologies for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, FCA will be displaying four models — a Wrangler Sahara, two Wrangler Rubicon units and one Wrangler Sport that has been equipped with Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar accessories. The latter shows how customers are able to modify the off-road SUV depending on their needs and preferences.

Moreover, FCA will also debut the Jeep Adventure Reality app. It is an augmented reality (AR) tool that will allow customers to build the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. The mobile app will display the different trim levels, colors and configurations available for the off-road SUV.

With AR, customers will also be able to see what the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will look like in their driveways, have an in-depth look at the interior via high-resolution imagery and interact with the off-road SUV's different parts. The Jeep Adventure Reality app is compatible for the iPhone 7, 8 and X as well as the iPad Pro.

At CES 2018, FCA will also be bringing their Uconnect smartwatch app designed for Apple Watch and Android Wear devices; Family Alerts, so that parents can keep track of new teen drivers while they are out on the road; and Drive 'n Save, a new feature of the Uconnect system that collects vehicle information which can then be used to save on insurance.

FCA's CES 2018 exhibit will be displayed at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, Jan. 9 until Friday, Jan. 12. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is now available to purchase at dealers with a starting price of $23,995.
