If the most recent rumors are to be believed, then it seems likely that Apple will indeed be releasing a bunch of brand new next generation products this October.
According to reports, it might be possible for the company to simultaneously release a number of new computers this month, including the 2016 versions of its iMac PC, a new MacBook Pro, and a new MacBook Air laptop.
As of the moment, it isn't really clear if the company will be releasing the brand new devices at the same time. Despite this, rumors are rife that the company could be releasing all of its new products within the year. A report from MacRumors also claims that the company is actually "moving rapidly towards a launch" of its new products and it is very possible that the 2016 iMac would be one of them.
Fans are, of course, expecting a lot for this year's new all-in-one computer and for the most part, Apple has not really disappointed its consumers when it came to their enterprise level computers.
This year's model is expected to be coming with some brand new hardware, which will likely include an AMD Polaris-based GPU on board. If this is indeed the case, then the 2016 iMac will be fully VR ready and Apple may take advantage of this by adding some VR functionality to the device when it is released. It might also be possible for the 2016 iMac to become a true gaming computer with the addition of AMD's graphics processors.
Another expected innovation for the 2016 iMac is a brand new ultra high definition display that could be better than any 5K displays currently in the market.
