At some point, Motorola will come out with a new entry in its Moto X lineup, and a new leak claims it will be released as early as next month.

It isn't official but the leaks and rumors are shaping it up to be one fine handset. In the leaked image taken from Entel, the largest network provider in Chile, most of the specs of the alleged device were revealed.

The image, picked up by Chilean tech blog Pisapapeles, addressed the alleged third-generation Moto X as Moto X Sport, which makes it seem more of a variant than the standard model. Techno Buffalo predicts this device to be the new mobile companion of fitness lovers.

The Moto X Sport is expected to don a nice rugged design, with its chassis more resilient and durable than usual for it to withstand somersaults and to cater to its target customers. Recombu adds that it might even be water and dust resistant, but will still keep the staple Moto X curves.

As far as specs go, Motorola looks like it really is aiming for the device to be a decent upgrade to its predecessor. In the leak, it was listed to sport a 5.2-inch display. As per rumors, this screen will be set at Full HD. It is said to have a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter to go with it.

The leak showed that the new Moto X (3rd Gen) will house a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, although there's no word on what exact unit it will be. But considering it is a quad-core processor, there won't be drastic changes under the hood.

In the same leak, Motorola's other device, the Moto G 2015, is listed to be comprised of a 13- and 5-megapixels camera combo, a 5-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset under the hood, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage space to complement it.

Both devices, according to the leak, will be released as early as August.
