More filming updates had been released about the fourth season of "Longmire," which means that the formerly cancelled show will be airing again very soon.

Cast members Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, and Adam Bartley are already donning their uniforms while shooting for their scenes in New Mexico.

Sackhoff, the actress who portrays the role of deputy sheriff Victoria Moretti, constantly updates fans of the show via her Instagram account. One of them is a photo of some of the cast members taken while goofing around on the set.

Meanwhile, actor Lou Diamond Phillips also updates Longmire fans on his Twitter account. One of his posts claim that the show's first week of production was wrapped up on March 28. The actor who portrays the role of Sheriff Longmire's trusted friend Henry Standing Bear said, "Week 1 filming of #Longmire complete. This cast and crew continue to astound. Lemme tell ya, you are in for a helluva ride. @netflix"

Fans of the Western-inspired crime drama series are excited to find out what happens to Taylor's character, Sheriff Walt Longmire, as well as all the other characters in the show after the riveting cliffhanger ending of "Longmire" Season 3.

The fourth season of the show almost did not materialized after the original network A&E decided to cancel the show after the season three finale, but fans went all out to urge the series producers to look for other venues to continue the story.

Good thing the streaming network Netflix decided to pick up the show for its fourth season, which promises to provide the answers to all the questions left in season 4.

Reports claim that Longmire will try to investigate the case of his wife's murder, while his daughter Cady (Cassidy Freeman) deals with the truth about her mother's death.

The premiere schedule of "Longmire" Season 4 is expected to be announced soon.
