Jessa Seewald aspires to be a 'Trim Healthy Mama' on her 22nd week of pregnancy

Jessa Seewald beams as she takes a selfie during week 22 day 3 of her pregnancy. She and her husband Ben have decided to keep their first baby's gender under wraps until she gives birth in November. (Instagram/Jessa Seewald)

Jessa Seewald from "19 Kids and Counting" has been enjoying her pregnancy thus far, and one of the things she has been really careful about is her diet.

Earlier, Jessa revealed on her Instagram account (@jessaseewald) that one of her pregnancy cravings was Arby's roast beef sandwich and Jamocha shake, which her husband Ben Seewald indulged her with. "Lunch date with my man! Yeah... because 'the baby' was craving Arby's! I love being able to use that excuse," she wrote.

But now, Jessa has decided to forego fast food and instead concentrate on healthy eating. She has been reading the book "Trim Healthy Mama" written by Serene Allison and Pearl Barrett and using their recipes to whip up dishes for her and Baby Seewald.

Jessa even shared a photo of her meal—fish coupled with sweet potato and fresh salad. She captioned it: "Reading through the book 'Trim Healthy Mama' and feeling inspired! These ladies are great! By far the best, most well rounded approach to healthy eating, in my opinion! Y'all should definitely check it out."

The pregnant star still has not revealed the gender of her first baby, which leads people to guess whether Baby Seewald is a boy or a girl every time she posts a pregnancy photo.

In the latest one, Jessa is 22 weeks and three days pregnant and she said that her baby "now weighs just over a pound."

Many people have noticed that Jessa did not have her wedding ring on when she took the selfie, and attributed it to swollen fingers, which many women have to deal with when they get pregnant.
