Finally, one of the highly rated games, "Titanfall," will have a sequel. According to a report from Gamespot, "Titanfall 2" will drop sometime between October and December 2016.

This will happen despite the fact that another major game made by EA, "Battlefield 1," is scheduled to launch on Oct. 21. A lot of people agree that it's prudent of the company to put a bit of space between these two great games, simply because it could result in an overlap. Furthermore, even "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is due to be released by November, so it's only logical for the game to be released during late November or even by the end of December. However, all of these may well be rumors at this point.

That's why as of the moment, "Titanfall 2" is still not available for pre-order. But a lot of players expect that the unveiling of this game will happen on June 12 or later. Another important point of interest is that the upcoming sequel will be released in a wider range of platforms: the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.

"Titanfall" is one of the most highly rated first-person shooter video games, with Respawn Entertainment as its developer and EA as its publisher. The original game was released in 2014 for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox One. The anticipation for this game was due to the fact that it was developed by the same developers in the "Call of Duty" franchise.

This game allows players to become pilots that control their "Titans" and fight in war-torn space colonies. With its fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, this game has won more than 60 awards since it was revealed at the E3 2013 and has received generally positive reviews from fans and critics alike, with IGN giving it an 8.9 out of 10 rating in a review. With this, fans expect that the sequel to this series should be at least as good.
