'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Bellamy is Octavia's next target?

Will Bellamy share the same fate with Pike in "The 100" season 4? The CW

The writers of "The 100" season 4 have been showing snippets of what to expect in a new season, and it looks like someone is in big trouble.

In one of the updates of the Instagram account of the writers, they teased that someone will get the "first knife to [the] throat." Of course, they did not offer more information, leaving fans wondering.

Fans took it to mean that someone will bite the dust in "The 100" season 4, which they do not want to see following the death of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) and Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

Viewers were immediately worried about Bellamy (Bob Morley) and how heartbroken they will be. However, in truth, he is actually a target.

According to reports, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will take a darker path in "The 100" season 4. In the final minutes of the last season, fans will remember, Octavia killed Pike (Michael Beach), who is one of the reasons that the love of her life Lincoln has breathed his last.

Octavia also always blames Bellamy for helping Pike somehow make that happen, albeit indirectly and through a chain of events. Since Octavia will be dangerous in "The 100" season 4, fans may indeed have to worry about Bellamy.

Unfortunately, to learn who gets a knife to his or her throat in "The 100" season, fans will wait until next year. Also, instead of 16 episodes, there will only be 13 episodes.

This is not something new though, since the season prior to season 4 only had 13 episodes.

Apart from Octavia's downward spiral, "The 100" season 4 will also show the repercussions of Clarke's (Eliza Taylor) to hit the kill switch, which ALIE (Erica Cerra) says will render the planet inhabitable in six months.

It remains to be seen if she is telling the truth, but fans will know in "The 100" season 4 premiering early next year on The CW.
