"Disney Infinity 2.0," the action-adventure sandbox video game developed by Avalanche Software, will be adding more characters to its roster, specifically, antagonists. Disney Interactive and Marvel Entertainment announced that three of the biggest villains belonging to the Marvel franchise will be joining the game.

The three villains include Spider-Man's arch-nemesis Green Goblin, along with "Guardians of the Galaxy's" Ronan the Accuser and Yondu. They will be squaring off against the Earth's mightiest heroes and many more protagonists.

Each villain will have their own unique repertoire of abilities and moves in which they will be able to launch offensive and defensive attacks. The Green Goblin will be able to inflict damage using his superhuman strength as well as his Pumpkin Bombs, which are included in his arsenal. Yondu will be using his iconic whistle-powered flying arrow in addition to his flurry combat skills to impede the progress of the protagonists.

"Disney Infinity 2.0" was announced on April 30 last year and was released on Sept. 23 for the console version and Oct. 2 for PC. While the title was ported to the iOS platform, Disney Interactive has not yet confirmed a port to Google's Android platform. However, the publishing company did state that "Disney Infinity 2.0" will be rolling out to the PS Vita in 2015. The company did not offer a specific date.

Previous plot details revolve around the Norse god Loki and the Marvel's superhero team's efforts to prevent him from rebuilding the Casket of Ancient Winters. The second plot revolves around Spider-Man as he attempts to thwart Green Goblin's objective to complete the symbiote invasion. The third and final story will focus on the Guardians, where they must protect Knowhere from Ronan the Accuser.

The title is the sequel to "Disney Infinity," which was released in September 2013 for the console version and November 2013 for the PC version.
