ZTE Blade L3: Cheaper handset launches after Blade S6

ZTE follows up its earlier launch of the ZTE Blade S6 with the release of a lower model called the ZTE Blade L3. While the ZTE Blade S6 does carry a lot of impressive specs the ZTE Blade L3 comes with lower specs which is presumably a handset targeted to budget-conscious customers.

Among the specs that the Blade L3 carries include the following:

  • 5-inch HD96x540 display
  • 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 2,000 mAh battery
  • Android Lollipop OS

Being a phone that is obviously made for the people who are looking at low-end phones, the specs may not necessarily appeal to the people who expect so much power from a handset.

But then again, the Blade L3 could be another possible device to consider for consumers simply looking for a plain handset at the lowest price possible.

However, as other companies like Samsung and LG offer budget-friendly phones as well with the same or perhaps slightly higher specs, the Blade L3 could be in for some rough sailing in the market.

There is no word yet on the official price to which the ZTE Blade L3 would carry but based on the specs, the price-range is not expected to be that high. The official price is expected to be released soon.

As for availability, there is no word as well on whether the phone would be offered only on select areas or world-wide.
