Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is becoming more and more unstoppable. The newly-emerged tech firm is on the verge of releasing brand new devices, a Mi Note and a Mi Note Pro. GSM Arena reports that the company is set to offer the devices outside of China, which is its primary market. However, it will be challenged by new and old devices alike as it makes it across, one of which should be the LG G3. Although LG's offering is about seven months old in the showground, users believe that it is still the best choice. Will this change with the Mi Note Pro coming?

Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is bigger and thinner than the LG G3. There is a 5.7-inch 3D curved Quad HD display lodged in its thin 7 mm body. The LG G3 is at 5.5 inches with a body a bit hulking at 9.5 mm. Both, however, come with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and are caked with Corning Glass 3. It is not the same with the pixel density though. The LG G3 looks to have the crisper visuals in its True HD display at 538 pixel density. The Xiaomi phablet has 515 ppi.

Under the hood, LG G3 is squashed by the Xiaomi Note Pro. The Xiaomi device comes with the latest Qualcomm processor, the 64-bit Snapdragon 810. This packs four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. The LG G3 sports a Snapdragon 801 set at 2.5 GHz. The former has 4 GB RAM slotted in coupled with 64 GB storage capacity. Unlike the LG G3, which has 16 and 32 GB storage capacity variants along with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM, respectively, the Xiaomi Note Pro has no card slot.

Camera capabilities-wise, the devices are toe to toe. Both boast 13-megapixel rear-facing shooters. The camera in the LG smartphone also allows HD recording while its rival does not. It also has a 2.1-megapixel camera while the Mi Note Pro opted for a 4-ultrapixel selfie snapper.

The Xiaomi Note Pro is boxed up with Android Lollipop while LG G3 is upgradable to the new firmware from Android KitKat. The former is loaded with a 3000 mAh battery, which should last about a day as the LG G3 can run up to 21 hours. The Xiaomi Note Pro will hit the market on Jan. 27 with a $531 price tag or 3299 Yuan in China. As per GSM Arena, Oppomart will offer it for a higher price, $599. The LG G3 is being sold for about $400.
