WWE Rumors: No Sting at the Rumble

While it was earlier reported that Sting could be appearing again in the WWE, it it definitely won't be at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

This comes at the heels of rumors that Sting would not be competing in any match for the upcoming Royal Rumble where many expected a showdown between the Stinger and Triple H.

It will be recalled made a historic and surprise appearance during the last Survivor Series and many speculated that Sting could be soon making regular appearances. While that topic is still up in the air, one thing is for sure – it won't happen at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

Now take note that Sting may not compete in the Rumble but that doesn't mean the Sting will not make an appearance. He could possibly be doing an interview or maybe even interfering in one of the matches again where Triple H is expected to be included in the mix as well.

If you look at the matches lined up for the Rumble, the best chances of Sting and Triple H crossing paths before Wrestlemania would be a match involving one of the members of Team Authority. Or maybe it could be during the main event (John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar) so it will be interesting to note how this storyline goes.

Whatever happens, it is a fact that Triple H wants to face Sting at Wrestlemania. There are other plans that involve Sting facing off against the Undertaker though it would depend on how fit the Dead Man would be in once Wreslemania comes around.

Team Authority is being groomed for a reported comeback and this may be the storyline that the WWE is leaning to as well. Being known for his vigilante-character, rumors have it that Sting would be commissioned by Vince McMahon to battle against Team Authority.
