WWE rumors: CM Punk's wife AJ Lee addresses pregnancy rumors

The last we heard of AJ Lee was that she was beside her hubby, CM Punk, who is gearing up for a UFC debut. But it seems that many are not buying it and are speculating that the WWE Diva may be on her way out.

Also, there are some who say that Lee may be pregnant, a reason why she has not been seen lately on WWE shows. Lee was last seen on December 14 but has not been seen since.

However, Lee has set the records straight. Through Twitter, Lee explained that she has been dealing with a neck injury which she got since Summer Slam, hence the reason for her absence.

By doing so, Lee has doused water on all rumors about her status in the WWE. And according to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Lee is due to be back either on January 23 or 24 during a live event to be held in New Jersey.

Rumors went wild during Lee's absence. That included her having some issues backstage which were never really confirmed. And from all indications, all that may stay as rumors with the reported return of the three-time Divas Champion to active duty in about a week's time.

Things heated up for Lee and many speculated that the WWE took exception for her choosing to be by her husband's side when Punk officially signed the contract to be part of the UFC.

It will be recalled that Punk left the WWE with some issues in tow and such was apparently included in the whole AJ Lee issue that could all be for naught by next week.

The curious thing about her return is that it will be an event prior to the highly anticipated Royal Rumble. With her return, Lee could be injected into storylines among the Divas probably against the Bella Twins, Paige or even Natalya.
