It's been a while since Daniel Bryan appeared in the WWE and many were speculating that the former champion would be retiring. Bryan was sidelined due to a career-threatening neck injury and complications set in. That included experiencing trouble in regaining strength in his right arm.

But now it looks like all that has been resolved as Bryan is set to make his return to the WWE by way of the next Royal Rumble slated for January 25, 2015.

Bryan made the announcement during the December 29, 2014 edition of RAW. A teary-eyed Bryan shared with the audience on hand the things that had transpired lately in his life, including the untimely death of his father and marriage to WWE Diva Brie Bella. And just when fans thought Bryan would be eventually announcing his retirement, it was the exact opposite. The "Yes! Man" is returning and it will be at the Rumble which will be held in Philadelphia.

Bryan gave credit to the doctor who was finally able to patch him up and prepare him for more battles in the squared circle.

"We didn't believe it at first. It's one of those things where you're like, 'This guy's not for real, right?' But, he was for real. And then the doctors told me I was cleared."

Bryan's return comes at a time when the WWE is not exactly at an all-time high. The WWE is having its share of woes and Bryan's return is seen as something to somehow help remedy part of that crisis.

It seems interesting to see how Bryan would be faring once more, especially when he steps in the ring against 40 other wrestlers. Would he be fit enough to take new pounding and the physical torment that the WWE Royal Rumble carries? Better yet, could Bryan be tipped to win the Rumble and get his career back on track?

All that will be answered on January 25, 2015 so watch out for it.
