WWE 'Clash of Champions' match-up details

"Class of Champions" happens Dec. 18. WWE/Facebook

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event titled "Clash of Champions" is coming up very soon, and news has been rolling out so that fans can be updated on what they can expect from this tremendous sporting event. Titles are set to be put on the line, and as long as the wrestlers stay in shape and remain healthy, nothing should come in the way of the match cards. The moments that occur after "Clash of Champions" will determine next year's "Royal Rumble."

Bleacher Report states that there is still some room for some "twists and turns" that may happen during the "Clash of Champions," but mainly, it is expected to be a proper build-up for WrestleMania -- which is the biggest event in WWE. The match cards have been constantly updated, but it seems that the headliner will be that match between the current WWE champion, AJ Styles, who will be defending his title against Jinder Mahal.

On the other hand, women's SmackDown champion, Charlotte Flair, is slated to clash against Natalya in a Lumberjack match. WWE Legend Randy Orton will be seen by his fans going up against Aiden English, The Usos, Shelton Benjamin, and Chad Gable for a special Fatal 4-Way Match. This match will surely hold a lot of surprises for fans, and could potentially have a very interesting outcome.

In a report by CBS Sports, it has been analyzed that the match between Flair and Natalya is "forced" due to the illogical turn of events that eventually led to a Lumberjack match. It seems there is still not much event variety for the women's category in WWE, and the analysts have even gone so far as to say that the draw for "Clash of Champions" for 2017 is not as compelling as other WWE major events.

WWE "Clash of Champions" will take place on Dec. 18, 2017.
