"WWE 2K16" boasts the biggest fighter roster in the history of the long-running franchise. However, 2K Sports isn't very generous in revealing who these characters are, with only seven wrestlers confirmed to grace the game as of this writing. But a new leak increases that to 12.
GameStop Italy leaked some of the biggest names joining the latest wrestling simulation game iteration via their online magazine, and fans now know that the game studio likes the lineup to be both old school and new school.
In the leak from the retailer picked up by Shack News, it was revealed that fighters Alexa Bliss, Andre the Giant, The Rock, Triple H, and Hulk Hogan will all be part of "WWE 2K16." Their inclusion isn't all that surprising with all these wrestlers already established in the business.
Bliss is an NXT diva. As per iDigital Times, the wrestler's addition to the roster was likely the result of some really serious twists and turns that happened in NXT. 2K Sports has 120 spots to fill in and her fans would be happy to know she owns one.
Should this be accurate, the roster for "WWE 2K16" looks promising with the addition of the wrestling legends and superstars who have established an enduring legacy and those starting out and following that path.
Lazy Gamer hopes that Big Show will be included in the lineup, too, with the idea of a match against Andre the Giant. The site says that with new and previous generation fighters all joining the party, gamers will get to be in their dream matches, which, sometimes, just can't happen in the real life sport.
2K Sports has a lot more unveilings to do though as that is just one-tenth of the roster of 120 unique characters that "WWE 2K16" was promised to have. Confirmed fighters include Bad News Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Finn Balor, Paige, Seth Rollins and cover star Stone Cold Steve Austin.
