Samsung's highly touted Galaxy S6 is expected to be revealed this March 1st at a special event titled Samsung Unpacked. This will be the initial appearance for the much anticipated device which is expected to on hand as well when the 2015 Mobile World Congress kicks off.

As leaks and rumors about the highly anticipated phones continue to come out, this will the public's first chance to take a gander at the official device from Samsung.

In recent weeks, folks have been treated to leaked photos which show the Samsung Galaxy S6 sporting a metal body topped by a 5.1-inch Quad HD resolution display as well as an enhanced 20MP rear camera. It will also sport a 5MP camera shooter upfront.

On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be powered by an Exynos 7420 processor and 3GB of RAM. Potential owners can choose from among 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options.

Further features that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will carry include a fingerprint sensor, LoopPay (Samsung Pay), and a 2,600 mAh battery. The phone is 6.91 mm thin and will come with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
