More insight on the emergence of Aaron will be seen in the upcoming episodes of "The Walking Dead." In a new spoiler by the Spoiling Dead Fans, it was revealed that the newcomer will be brought to Rick to question his purpose. With this, Aaron's true intent will be unfurled— and that is to recruit the group to his gated community, which should be the Alexandria Safe Zone.

Aaron, who is played by Ross Marquand, convinces Rick that the community exists. He brought a photo of it for proof. However, the group has long abandoned the task of trusting strangers and Rick had to stop his blabbing by knocking him out with a solid punch. However, it is already known that the group will eventually give in. How soon that will be remains to be seen.

"He's been following this group, whipping out his spy gear to some degree," Marquand told EW. "He's been tracking the group for a while and getting a vibe from them and getting the dynamics of leadership from them and how they work together—and that's extremely important to him. A lot more is going to be revealed next week."

An interesting fact about Aaron is that he has a partner and a fellow recruiter named Eric. It was revealed that this role will be played by Jordan Woods-Robinson. Another character that should turn up is Douglas Monroe, the leader of the gated community that will designate jobs for Rick and his group. Also worth noting is that fans can expect a beard-free Rick as the gang can now, at long last, shower and shave.

With the group close to the safe zone, fans who follow the comic also know that Glenn is not that far from his brutal death. Prowling the outside of the community is a sadistic group called survivors. Its leader Negan brings along a barbed wire-covered baseball bat he named Lucille. It is with this mace that the brutal chief of the group will smash Glenn to death.

"The Walking Dead" episode 11 titled "The Distance" will air Feb. 22. If you miss the episode, be sure to watch it online via live stream on AMC.
