'Vikings' season 3 spoilers: Floki hates Ragnar's decision-making in episode 4 'Scarred'

Will there be more bloodshed in Vikings season 3? history.com

Floki will be faced with distressing revelations in episode 4 of "Vikings" season 3. The shipbuilder will be gnashing his teeth knowing about the alliance with King Ecbert in the new episode titled "Scarred." But his ferocity will be ignited further when it finally comes to him that Ragnar has fallen deep into Althestan's influence. This will further cause rift to the pair's friendship.

Season 2 ended with the battered amity between the two. Floki has always been Ragnar's confidante but his inability to see the big picture of things leaves Ragnar doubtful of him. Also, everybody knows that the Viking warrior is not very good at keeping a harmonious relationship with family and friends. Athelstan may be the individual to change all that. Ultimately, Floki and Ragnar are unlikely to resolve their differences in the next episodes to come.

Episode 4 will also see the return of Ragnar's battalion of warriors to Wessex after their successful attempt to cement Vikings in history and defeat another Mercian army. However, their absence seems to be much for the convenience of a mysterious wanderer named Harbard, whose emergence bowled over Queen Aslaug, Helga and Siggy who saw his coming in their prophecy.

This might just be the "rancour" in the Viking camp the synopsis of the episode is talking about. Harbard's outlandish aura is not doing any good in having people at ease of his presence. As soon as he showed up, two boys drowned. Coincidence that may be, but Harbard makes viewers feel like he can't be trusted.

Meanwhile, Princess Kwenthrith has readied some shrewd political schemes in her arsenal after Ragnar's army took the victory home from the Hill of the Ash in Mercia . Lastly, Hederby is bound to welcome "visitors from the past" whose presence was requested by Kalf.

Season 3 episode 4 of "Vikings" will air on March 12.
