With a brand new trailer, game company Ubisoft has recently introduced the British Special Forces unit, also known as the SAS, set to join the warfare in "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege."

The clip shows the team as they break into an aircraft taken over by terrorists to get an individual, held captive inside the plane, back to safety. The group moves about the area quickly, destroying the numerous blockades the enemies had set up, smashing them with sledgehammers and blowing them up with gas grenades.

The aforementioned weapons are just some of the flurry of armaments in the highly-anticipated first-person shooter video game. The footage even shows the team using mobile cameras as explosives.

In the video, the British forces are successful in extracting the hostage and the clash ends with a torrent of bullets raining over the terrorist group, wrapping up the action-packed confrontation. As the footage suggests, the new squad is on rappel, aerial, gas and light armor, which is clearly showcased during the mission.

As four key fighters of the British Unit — namely Mute, Thatcher, Smoke, and Sledge — are introduced, a voiceover rings in the background, expressing the need for strength, skill and determination and emphasizing on having character to be part of the mighty group.

The British Unit is one of the four squads players will see in action in the upcoming game. The group will join the U.S. FBI, Spetsnaz from Russia, GIGN from France, and Germany's GSG-9.

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" is the latest iteration of the tactical shooter series. It is the perfect balance of strategic gameplay and epic gunplay complemented with environmental destruction, evident on the footage.

The brand new Ubisoft-developed title will blast into the PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
