The 2006 role-playing game "Titan Quest" is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

THQ Nordic announced that it is finally bringing the Diablo-like game to home consoles, 12 years after it was first released. The game's graphics was reportedly "re-mastered" to bring "Titan Quest" at par with more recent console releases. There will also be an online multiplayer game, which can accommodate up to six people.

"Titan Quest" will be available digitally and in stores for $30 for the standard release -- this includes the base game with the "Immortal Throne" expansion. The "Ragnarok" expansion, released last month, is excluded.

There is a bonus for PS4 and Xbox One owners, as they could avail of the Collector's Edition, which will also be available on PC.

The Collector's Edition, as seen below, contains a physical copy of the game, the "Immortal Throne" expansion, a notebook, and a 9.15-inch Greek war helmet. The set costs $110 for PC and $119 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Game developers have been slowly building up "Titan Quest" since Nordic games acquired it from THQ in 2013.

For the game's 10th anniversary in 2016, THQ Nordic released a re-mastered version that fixed a lot of age-old problems. Just this November, the game developers surprised fans with the game's second expansion, "Ragnarok," which arrived 11 years since it was launched.

Based around Norse Mythology, "Ragnarok" brings players across ancient Greece, Egypt, Asia, and Northern Europe in a quest to defeat the Titans. It also added new weapon types, a new Runemaster skill Mastery, and brought the level cap to 85. Apart from a whole load of technical improvements, the downloadable content also came with new secrets and mysteries for players to uncover.

"Titan Quest" will be available for PS4 and Xbox One starting March 20, 2018. It is slated to arrive on Nintendo Switch later in the year.
