'Thor: Ragnarok' plot: The Hulk to be more verbal in upcoming film?

This year, several rumors about "Thor: Ragnarok" started pouring in as the film was described by Mark Ruffalo as being "a little bit of 'Midnight Run,'" only instead of having Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin in the movie, the third "Thor" installment will have Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the Hulk (Ruffalo).

Rumors about the upcoming film's plot have also surfaced, with some saying that after Thor learns about Hela and Loki's scheme, Thor gets banished to a planet where he is forced to fight in an arena. Even without his hammer, Thor manages to defeat his opponents and comes face to face with the current champion— the Hulk.

While Marvel has yet to comment on the rumored plot, it was confirmed that the Hulk and Thor's adventures will be a big part of the movie. Ruffalo previous teased that "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature a more conscious Hulk, and it was speculated that Bruce Banner's and the Hulk's personalities will be merging, which will likely result in a more verbal Hulk.

When asked whether the hero will be more conscious this time around, director Taika Waititi spoke with Hitfix and said that at the moment, there is a "big conversation that's happening about how far to push that."

"I think a lot of those conversations have more to do with what's going to come up in future movies," said Waititi, adding that most of those decisions are large group decisions and that they are not something that he or the writers come up with.

"They have a lot to consider. But I do think that's the best way to track it," he continued.

If ever Marvel does consider making Hulk more verbal in the film, this could carry over to future Marvel films as Ruffalo told Empire that the Hulk will have a "good arc" starting in the third "Thor" film which will carry out all the way to "Avengers 4."

"Thor: Ragnarok" premieres in November 2017.
