Mackenzie Murphy, a.k.a. Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) receives an indecent proposal from a very unexpected person in the next episode of "The Mick" season 2.

In the promo for the sixth episode titled "The Matriarch," Mickey accompanies the kids — her niece Sabrina (Sofia Black-D'Elia) and nephews Chip (Thomas Barbusca) and Ben (Jack Stanton) — to great grandmother Rita Pemberton's 100th birthday party, celebrated, of course, at the giant mansion.

The aging Rita (Mo Gaffney) will mistake Mickey for an old friend. It is a great opportunity, which Mickey would definitely milk on, but to her surprise, their pretend friendship is far from platonic. Meanwhile the kids are in for a surprise from their grandmother Tippy.

The future looks bright for the single-camera comedy series after it scored an additional seven episodes from FOX. That means a total of 20 for season 2. Its first season, originally slated for 14 episodes, also received an additional three to finish at a total of 17 episodes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Mick" is FOX's top comedy launch since the 2011 "New Girl," which stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield.

The series' season 2 premiere rating also reportedly drew 2.8 million viewers, a 28 percent increase as compared to the season 1 finale.

"The Mick" follows the story of a tough and unapologetic woman (Mickey) who finds herself an instant babysitter of three spoiled kids in an affluent Greenwich, Connecticut neighborhood. That's after their mother, who is also her sister, was forced to flee the country to avoid federal charges. Needless to say, it is a life she never wanted for herself. It does not help that her sister's children are basically little monsters.

Find out how Mickey tries to get out of that sticky and awkward situation with great grandmother Rita as "The Mick" season 2 episode 6 airs on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 10 p.m. EDT on FOX.
