'The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D' for Nintendo 3DS not releasing

In the wake of the delay of "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U, "Zelda" fans got a kick out of a StreetPass image that reveals that "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D" is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Unfortunately though, the supposed leak was proven to be a "Rayman in Smash Bros." hoax all over again.

A user named David Tarakanoff claimed that he streetpassed with someone allegedly playing "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D" during the Zelda Symphony concert in Dusseldorf, Germany. This user was revealed to be someone named ChrisX930.

It did not take long for a website named NintenDaan to know that there was something fishy and the tomfoolery did not go on for long after ChrisX930 himself revealed that the image was merely a hack in the hopes of having Nintendo bring the game to the 3Ds for real.

Even then, David uploaded more images and videos to further add force to what was discovered as a big sham, which broke fans who have yet to recover from the announcement of the late arrival of "The Legend of Zelda" to the Wii U.

It was further discovered that ChrisX930 was in fact working with David so as to make the leak look believable. Unfortunately for the tricksters, their elaborately devised ruse was uncovered.

It also ends untoward for fans, who were already hyped by the possible coming of "Twilight Princess 3D" to the handheld. Many thought that it is too early for Nintendo to release such, especially because "Majora's Mask 3D" just rolled out in January.

And alas, as it turns out, it is indeed too soon for another "Zelda" title to hit the Nintendo 3DS. The only benefit fans see in this hoax is that Nintendo may be swayed into bringing in "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D" with the cult of fans excited to see it.
