Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) gave up a lot of things that mattered to her in the season 6 finale of "The Good Wife." After giving up the States Attorney position and leaving Lockhart, Agos and Lee, it looks like Alicia has no choice but to do what some new attorneys do: offer her services to bond court.

Speaking to TVGuide, co-executive producers and husband-and-wife team Robert and Michelle King gave some insight into Alicia's new job in season 7.

"She'll get a taste of the life of a newbie lawyer in bond court, where bar attorneys help arrestees seek bail and it's a rush of cases one after another," said Robert.

Robert said that compared to her time at the firm where they mostly dealt with high profile cases, Alicia's clients in bond court do not necessarily need public defenders because they're not that destitute, but they're also not "rich enough" to afford a dedicated lawyer.

"We wanted to see Alicia deal with the law the way most people practice, which is not for rich people…It's really like what it is like for someone today who is arrested on the streets of Chicago," he said.

But she won't be going in completely unaware because in bond court, Alicia will befriend a female lawyer named Lucca Quinn (Cash Jumbo). Robert said that Lucca will be showing Alicia the ropes and that though they will be competing for clients, there is no animosity between them.

As for a new love interest, Michelle revealed that sparks will fly between Alicia and Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), an ex-lawyer who now works as a freelance investigator. He will be working with Alicia on some cases. Though there's undeniable chemistry between them, he won't be working exclusively for Alicia, and Robert confirmed that he'll be working with Lockhart, Agos and Lee as well.

"The Good Wife" airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
