So far, "The Good Wife" season 7 has been doing a neat job in setting up Alicia, Lucca and Jason as a well-oiled machine. With the three putting their heads together, they are able to pull off great law work. In the next episode simply titled "Lies," fans can expect the trio working together again.

This time, Lucca and Alicia deal with a client, who was a lawyer for a technology firm until she was given the chop for allegedly failing a polygraph test. But more than proving this unfortunate client's innocence, Alicia will have to deal with Eli as usual.

In this "The Good Wife" season 7 episode, Eli has plans to leak information that can potentially smash up Peter's presidential campaign to dust while damaging Alicia in the process. "The higher the Florricks climbed, the lower he is willing to sink," the voiceover tells of Eli in the promo.

But if the clip is any indication, Alicia may already be one step ahead of the conniving connoisseur. "You're scheming something here," Alicia tells the campaign expert, who seems to have been flustered and surprised by Alicia's remark. "Cheers," she then says.

From the looks of it, Eli will not stop until Peter and Alicia are beneath him. The promo even shows Eli sharing a meal with the former's campaign operative Ruth, which seems to be a part of his scheme as well.

"We could win," Ruth tells him. "We need to work together Eli," she goes on to say. However, it doesn't look like Eli is up for the team-up. If anything, he may also be plotting the downfall of Ruth as well.

While Eli sets out to "destroy" Peter and everyone he is connected with, Alicia herself may already have some tricks up her sleeves. If that really is the case, fans will know when "The Good Wife" season 7 episode 6 "Lies" airs Nov. 8 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
