The rest of the first half of "The Flash" season 2 will be of romance, family and rogues. The stars of the hit CW series recently gave a glimpse of what's in store for fans in the final installments of the series this year during an interview with TV Line.

Keiynan Lonsdale debuts as Wally West in the fall finale (episode 9) of the series. The character finally gets to meet his long-lost sister Iris, played by Candice Patton. The actress teases that this episode will be "a lot about family, which is a big plot point for Iris this season."

The star promises that "The Flash" season 2 fall finale will make a good Christmas episode because in it will be "good villain, good love and good heart." Speaking of villains, Barry's metahuman haters will be back as well.

Mark Hamill reprises his role as Trickster in this episode. Captain Cold wouldn't miss the fun as well as the Weather Wizard played by Liam McIntyre. With these baddies deciding to play Grinch, thankfully, Barry has found a way to defeat them.

"Barry does another thing with his powers that he, in the moment, discovers and that he's never done before," Grant Gustin aka Flash teases, adding that this new move will be both cool and comic book-y.

With a lot of troublemakers in his hands, Barry still has time for romance. However, his lies are taking their toll on his relationship with Patty and so in "The Flash" season 2 fall finale, viewers will see things changing and "getting a little harder" for the couple.

However, romance-wise, the polar opposite will happen to Caitlin, who her essayer Danielle Panabaker promises will have "some fun dialogue" with Jay and possibly some kissy mistletoe moment as well.

"The Flash" season 2 fall finale airs Dec. 8. An episode before that titled "Legends of Today" is airing Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on CW. Here, Jay will return to STAR Labs but will again be at loggerheads with Harrison Wells, who wants to make him his guinea pig for a substance he developed believed to boost Barry's speed.

This episodes also serves as part one of the much-awaited "Flash/Arrow" crossover event that set up "Legends of Tomorrow."
