Sheldon and Leonard are set to deal with Internet trolls in the next episode of "The Big Bang Theory." While the duo has used hours of their lives tackling bullies, the pair has yet to duel with online haters. In episode 13 titled "The Troll Manifestation," viewers will be treated to a virtual scuffle when Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) clash with someone who "destroys" and sends out horrible things about the physics paper they co-wrote and published online.
As the duo defends themselves and their work from the troll, Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will be hanging out on girls' night. As the nighttime deepens, the ladies find themselves in the middle of a big tell-all when they start to brazen out embarrassing moments and memories that happened in the past. As for Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Enstarz believes that the two will involve themselves in Sheldon and Leonard's goal to take down the troll.
The success of the much-loved sitcom is attributed to many things. For one, Parsons says it is all on writer Chuck Lorre.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said, "Chuck was a musician before he was a writer, and one thing all of these shows have in common is a rhythm. These shows [perform strongly when in repeats]. You've seen them three times, but it's like a pop song – it's got rhythm. He'll come in when were rehearsing and clean it up."
Helberg, on the other hand, said that Sheldon's legendary seat cushion has something to do with the massive success of the show and that the crew exerts great effort in protecting what he called Sheldon's spot.
"God forbid something gets spilled on that cushion — that show, the ratings would plummet," Helberg jested during an interview with HuffPost Live. "So they hide this cushion somewhere. And there's probably like a Brinks truck [with] just a bunch of armed guards there waiting until Tuesday night ..."
Episode 14 of "The Big Bang Theory" will air on Feb. 5.
