ABC promises "The Bachelor" 2016 to be "one of the most romantic seasons to date." The so-called "perfect 10" bachelor Ben Higgins at the center of the show is just one of the many things that make the season exciting. The network promises special guests and surprises peppered this season.

For starters, hip hop magnate Ice Cube and comedian Kevin Hart will be in charge of setting up Ben's first one-on-one date so expect a barrel of laughs for this one. In one of the group dates, Ben and 12 lucky ladies will be joined by the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup championship soccer team.

At some point in "The Bachelor" 2016, three familiar faces will pay a visit to Ben. Former bachelor Sean Lowe from season 17, Jason Mesnick from season 13 and Chris Soules from last season will be on the latest bachelor's side to show him how it's done.

ABC also teases that when the contestants are down to nine, Ben will take them to Mexico, where they get to meet in person "one of the country's hottest fashion designers." It looks like the girls will be given the opportunity to walk the runway for Mexico's Fashion Week.

One of the contestants in this coming season happens to be a friend of Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was the bachelorette in the last season where Ben was one of the competitors (he was one of the final three) and declared himself "unlovable."

On the other hand, it is expected that viewers will get to meet the ladies vying for Ben's heart soon as ABC always likes to introduce the contestants of the reality series roughly a month prior to the show's premiere.

Ben's journey to love and romance in "The Bachelor (2016) season 20 will begin on Jan. 4, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
