'Supernatural' season 12 episode 3 spoilers: Heaven and hell go after Lucifer

When "Supernatural" season 12 returns to the small screen with episode 3, "Foundry," Crowley (Mark Sheppard) finds a partner in Castiel (Misha Collins) in his search for Lucifer (Rick Springfield), who is using rock star Vince Vicente as a vessel.

The previous episode saw the King of Hell's first disastrous attempt to go after the devil. He got help from his mother, Rowena (Beth Cohen), who he left at the hands of Lucifer when things went south.

As teased before, Castiel will be decidedly determined to go after Lucifer and stop him for good. "Supernatural" season 12 episode 3 will see him make that effort by reluctantly teaming up with Crowley.

"He feels responsible for Lucifer getting out of the cage," showrunner Andrew Dabb told TV Line last month. "Although as we'll learn, pretty much everyone else on our show feels responsible for that, too," he went on to say.

However, Crowley's mistake makes things a hundred times worse as Rowena becomes Lucifer's weapon by taking advantage of her magic as well as the Book of the Damned.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), as well as their mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), are a bit busy at the moment as they deal with the mystery of the crying baby in "Supernatural" season 12 episode 3.

The said toddler appears to have caused death in an abandoned house, which had the family of three spring into action. This baby appears to be possessed by something evil.

Curiously, the "Supernatural" season 12 episode 3 promo shows Mary shed blood from her eyes. It is unclear as to what this is all about, but it looks like she, too, might have been possessed.

Dean always doubted bringing their mother to work due to his fear that they might lose him again. Clearly, this is something he does not want to happen again. "Supernatural" season 12, episode 3 might remind him of that thought.

"Supernatural" season 12 episode 3, "Foundry," is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
