The "Street Fighter 5" beta is now back online after Capcom worked to find solutions to the connectivity issues that welcomed the testing.

The "Street Fighter 5" beta for the PS4 was put on hold just an hour after it went live as players started to report issues on connectivity. Gamers taking part in the much-awaited testing weren't able to get in the game.

"We apologize for the ongoing issues that users have been experiencing with the SFV beta test. In order to allow us to fix the issues as quickly as possible, we are going to initiate a period of extended maintenance, during which time the beta will be unavailable to all users," Capcom announced via the game's official Facebook page.

Before the game studio decided to officially take down the "Street Fighter 5" beta, it first made an attempt to patch things up with temporary fixes, asking and thanking gamers for their patience as they extended the maintenance, which did not do much in eliminating the plaguing connectivity issues. When users started to complain about how the beta messed up the online matchmaking and basically didn't allow them to log in to the game, Capcom worked on resetting the server and implementing changes.

On Saturday, July 25, Capcom announced: "We are running another SFV Beta test today from 11AM PST to 1AM PST for North America only. We will be monitoring the server status and once we are comfortable with the NA roll out we will look into scheduling a global beta test. Thank you for your continued patience."

"Street Fighter 5" is the latest entry in the long-running, iconic fighting game franchise. It introduces an all new and unique gameplay mechanic, wherein each fighter in the roster gets a special V-Gauge and V-Skill move. These are shown off in previous trailers as a new character was brought into the roster.
