Sony Xperia Z3 was recently released and will soon be made available in various markets this month onwards. But even this early, rumors pertaining to the Xperia Z4 are already starting to pop up.

Sony is known for updating its Xperia line every six months. According to hearsays, the Sony Xperia Z4 release will happen in March. The company will most likely announce the device at the Mobile World Congress 2015 scheduled to take place from March 2 to 5. The event was where the Sony Xperia Z2 was launched, thus, it is likely that the fourth generation of the device will appear on the said event.

Aside from its alleged release date, some of the probable specs and features of the device are being speculated on. Many users hope for improved features seen on the current flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z3.

New design

The Sony Xperia Z4 may show off a new design. Sony did well in refining the OmniBalance design of the Xperia handsets. The company will probably update the physical design of its next device.

QHD screen resolution with slimmer bezels

The first three Xperia smartphones packed the same screen size and 1080p or Full HD screen displays, which some find quite disappointing since the company seems to be paying very little attention to the screen display of their devices. Fans have been hoping to see an upgrade in the screen department. Thus, consumers may see a QHD display resolution in the future. Moreover, the device will most likely pack a bigger screen display by including slimmer bezels.

Powerful processor

The new device is rumored to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 810 clocked at 4.0 GHz. The new snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm will be released early next year and will be used in upcoming Android smartphones. Moreover, the device will be equipped with a higher RAM compared to the current Sony Xperia Z3.

Better camera

One of the embarrassments of Sony Xperia Z3 is that its camera is still less than impressive. However, with the improvements made by its rivals, Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to include a better camera with 4K video capture to be at par with other smartphones.

However, Sony has to confirm the rumors, and whether or not it will release the new Xperia Z4 soon.
