Sony Lavender, which is believed to take the name Xperia C5 Ultra, was unmasked in a brand new leak. The device's alleged manual is now bouncing around the Internet, revealing the design language and layout users will see in the upcoming mid-ranger.
The photos of the manual came from Sony smartphone-centric publication Xperia Blog, which states that the previously reported August release date for the new handset is also the same information indicated in the manual.
Apart from that, there are also outlines of the device that reveal where the buttons, jack and microphones are located. More importantly, it shows off the device's bezel-less design, confirming previous leaked images showing the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra with no bezels on its front panel.
The manual reveals that the camera, believed to be at 13 megapixels, will come with a LED flash. A dedicated camera button on right side was spotted along with a loudspeaker on the handset's front. There is also space for the microSD card slot and the nano SIM card slot. The volume rocker doubles as a camera zoom button.
The leak points out that the Sony C5 Ultra is getting 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage space. While there is no information on the resolution of the front camera — GSM Arena says it might be 5 megapixels — it is stated that the shooter will also get an LED flash for better-lit selfies.
Other rumors claim that the Sony Lavender will sport a MediaTek MT6752 processor under its hood. The display is expected to be at 5.5 inches or larger with a 1080p resolution. If this is accurate, then no display change from its predecessor, the Xperia C4, will take place.
The so-called Sony Xperia C5 Ultra will reportedly be released as early as next month.
