Rumor mills do not seem to take a break from the upcoming Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S6. The newest buzz issues from Korea-based media outlet ET News, which claims that the company's subsidiary called Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SEM) is developing a 20-megapixel primary shooter that offers optical image stabilization.

According to GSM Arena, although Samsung has sought the services of Sony for its cameras, it seems that the Galaxy S6 will change all that as the company is now allegedly making one on its own. As stated by Tech Times, the South Korean tech firm is steering clear of having outside companies produce components for its devices. This also seems to be the case with what will be under the Galaxy S6's hood.

Rumor has it that Samsung is looking to utilize Exynos processors for its next offering rather than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which rumors strongly suggested in previous reports. Foretelling the effect of this major change, Tech Times said that Qualcomm will remain as adamant as it is despite Samsung's move.

The site added, however, that the Galaxy smartphone maker is only being practical. After reports of overheating issues plagued the latest Snapdragon unit, Samsung presumably finds it best to settle on Exynos for the S6. Nevertheless, it is predicted that Samsung will reinstate Qualcomm-produced processors to its forthcoming releases, if not for the Galaxy S6.

On the other hand, BGR and its "trusted source" say that the Galaxy S6 will pack a 64-bit eight-core 14nm CPU. Apparently, this unit is so powerful that it can get the device function 50 percent faster. So if this comes to pass, there will be no annoying lags and freezes — just smooth sailing.

These unfounded specs are said to be featured along with a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that renders an impressive pixel density of 577 ppi. Add to that a 2550 mAh battery with Quick connect charging technology that juices up the phone with four hours of battery life in just 10 minutes. Along with that is an intimidating 4 GB RAM and storage capacities that vary from 32 GB, 64 GB to a whopping 128 GB. Lastly, Samsung will top it off with its very own mobile payment system that will rival Apple's. Samsung's will reportedly be called Samsung Pay.

Said to come with a dual-edged variant, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is predicted to be unveiled on March 2 during the Mobile World Congress.
