The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is still under development and hopefully the folks over at Samsung will be able to come up with an equally, if not better, device once it does come out.
This is with reference to the hype that that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has apparently provided in the phablet segment. Can the Galaxy Note 5 improve on the Galaxy Note 4's performance?
With a release date which may happen by the third quarter (probably around October), anticipation is high that the Galaxy Note successor would come out with better specs. And while nothing has been made official, here are the leaks and rumors coming out to date.
For starters, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come with a powerful processor. Leading off the rumors are that the device would come equipped with a more powerful processor, potentially an Exynos 7420 chipset (3.2 GHz) processor together with 8GB of RAM.
Further, it could come with 64GB of internal memory which may be expandable up to 128GB if this report from Fuse Joplin holds true.
Up front, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to of course come up with an impressive LCD display. Could it come with a 4K Super Amoled display? If so, expect a 5.9-inch screen leading off the specs which may carry a resolution of 2160x3840 pixels with a density of 743 ppi.
For the camera it may come with, it could be in the form of a 20MP shooter at the back and a front-facing 5MP snapper. There are other sites which believe that it could be a bit conservative, revealing that the back camera could be just 19MP while the front would only be 4.7MP.
That and of course a whole lot more are being pegged as features that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will carry. But again, all these are rumors as Samsung has yet to confirm or make official on what the device will actually have to offer.
