Samsung is bringing in a new lineup of smartphones users and fans will come to know as the E series. The first and juiciest details came from Sam Mobile, a big and reliable Samsung insider. After the South Korean firm's big jump in the design department with two of its latest offerings, the A3 and the A5, expectations are high up for its new and rather unforeseen array of handsets.

Samsung's latest phones are the Galaxy E7 (SM-E700) and the Galaxy E5 (SM-E500). The former puts the bigger specs forward. E7 will come in a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display that renders 1280 x 720 display resolution. Its kin is smaller, with only 5 inches of screen but with the same display quality.

As per IB Times, the structure of the upcoming devices is still unknown. If the titanic tech firm opts for metal exterior for its new-fangled phones, the site remarked that E5 and E7 will not be any different from the pioneer handsets of the A series. Nevertheless, the smartphones are bound to get an aerodynamic design, as the E5 will reportedly sport a body only 6.9 mm thick and the E7 with no more than 7.2 mm.

Under their hoods will dwell a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. There will also be 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage capacity to complement it. The E7 handset will feature a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera paired with a 5-megapixel shooter in front. The E5 will have the same front camera but its primary shooter will be at 8 megapixels only. The bigger brother will get a 2950 mAh non-removable battery while the smaller one will receive a 2300 mAh non-removable battery. In the advent of the newest Android operating system, the spanking new smartphones will have Android 5.0 Lollipop onboard, complete with TouchWiz.

It is expected that these devices will be unveiled in February next year, during the Mobile World Congress.
